Underground Kollektiv Records welcomes the First Drop of 2026 — a fresh two-track EP from Mista Nige

When it comes to underground acid-house energy, few labels deliver like Underground Kollektiv Records. And for our first release of 2026, we have tapped veteran DJ/producer Mista Nige to set the tone for the year. Hitting all stores worldwide on 9 January 2026, this two-track EP is poised to make a serious impact.

The EP showcases Mista Nige’s love of raw analogue gear, featuring heavy use of the iconic TB-303 bass synthesiser. The squelchy acid lines, twisted filter sweeps and driving, hypnotic rhythms all nod to the golden era of acid house while remaining firmly forward-looking. With only two tracks, each has space to breathe and evolve — the label promises “no fillers, just full-throttle 303 mayhem”.
