DJ Rookie - a versatile DJ spinning the best in Breaks, Techno, House and Drum'n'Bass. Generally veering towards the harder side of electronic music but still allowing the time and place for something more funky or mellow.
Having grown up as a Metal head in my teenage years I subsequently got hooked on Drum'n'Bass and Breakbeat in the mid to late 90's, further incorporating House and Trance into my repertoire while raving (I mean studying!) at university.
These days I feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of different sub genres and so I just find what I like, play it, and hope it sounds good in the mix!! At the end of the day, if it makes me feel good, I'm playing it!
