UDGK presents… Jon Carter
This past weekend, we threw one for the books—a proper day-to-night session that brought out the best of Manchester’s underground scene. With The Eagle Inn as our canvas, we kicked things off with an outdoor day party that built beautifully into a full-blown club takeover, headlined by the legendary Jon Carter.
The courtyard at The Eagle Inn set the perfect tone for the afternoon. With the speakers loaded with warm, rolling beats, the atmosphere buzzed with familiar faces and new energy alike. Our residents held it down early, that felt tailor-made for an outdoor knees up in Salford.
People spilled out from the pub, drinks in hand, soaking up the vibes. As the evening progressed, the tempo crept up and the crowd followed suit.
As night fell, we moved the party indoors, and that’s when things really took off. The club room transformed into a sweatbox of movement and sound, Shumbo Jebang leading the crowd right into the palm’s of scene legend Jon Carter.
Jon delivered a masterclass that reminded everyone why he remains one of the UK’s most revered DJs. From peak-time house rollers to twisted acid workouts, his set was both nostalgic and forward-pushing—a proper journey through the dancefloor’s outer limits.
Massive love to everyone who came down and danced with us, to the DJs who kept the fire burning all day and night, and to The Eagle Inn for hosting us. This one felt special. And if you were there, you know exactly why.
Until the next one…
