Gowzer (Steve McGowan) hails out of Glasgow UK. When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his own music aided by a passion of over 25 years in electronic music and having early influences such as Sasha and Digweed to Paul Oakenfold to name but a few.
Gowzer has spent many years playing at all of the major local Glasgow clubs and headlining some major UK clubs and the occasional international booking alongside some amazing guest DJ’s.
Gowzer also promotes his own events and likes to source out some upcoming local talent not just for his events but his new label which is in the works – Tradeston Records.
Over the years Gowzer has had a lot of time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about tapping into the mood and using deep hypnotic grooves and vocals to get your head and feet moving.
